As a freelance translator, I shall undertake to respect the translator’s professional code of ethics and to guarantee the confidentiality of all documents and information entrusted to me. Besides, my computer is equipped with a firewall and an antivirus, regularly updated. See you soon!

Presentation

French native speaker, I have been working as a freelance translator since 2006 and I have a Master’s Degree in English (Université Lumière Lyon II). I offer translation and proofreading services in a variety of fields, mainly from English into French. With three years’ translation/proofreading experience, I mostly work via Internet to make the contact with my clients and the transmission of documents easier. Practical information

My rates depend on a number of factors: volume, difficulty of the text to be translated, deadlines… They usually vary from 0.07 to 0.10 €/source word for translation projects and from 20 to 25 €/hour for proofreading works.
I generally translate from 2000 to 2500 words per day, including some week-ends.
Minimum invoicing: fixed price calculated on 300 words for translation or 1 hour for proofreading.
Additional charge for very short deadlines, for a Monday morning or a Sunday evening: up to 20%.
For a free tailored quote, feel free to contact me through the quote form or to send me an e-mail explaining in detail your project specifications (volume, deadline, field, other useful information). For a precise quote, please attach the text to be translated.
Payment methods: you may pay any invoices by bank transfer or by check, within 30 days after receipt.

I use the computer assisted translation suite SDL Trados, online and « paper » dictionaries as well as Word and Excel.
